OUAT 2021 Exam Date will be released along with official notification tentatively after May 7, 2021. The exam is likely to be held in July 2021. OUAT 2021 Application forms for UG and PG courses will be available online on the official portal in the month of May 2021 tentatively.
OUAT entrance exam is a university-level exam, organized by Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology every year for undergraduate and postgraduate admissions in Agricultural Technology courses.
- The exam will be conducted in offline mode across 24 cities of Orissa state.
- Candidates must check OUAT 2021 eligibility criteria and ensure they have a state domicile of Odisha prior to filling out the application form.
- OUAT 2021 Exam Pattern will consist of 200 questions with one mark for every right answer.
- OUAT 2021 Result and Merit List will be prepared based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance exam.
- Admission of the candidates in various UG programs will be done through OUAT Counselling.
OUAT 2021 Application form will be released for UG, PG, and Agro Polytechnic courses simultaneously. Registration will be done in two stages, initially, candidates will have to fill Form A followed by filling up of OUAT Application Form B and dates for which will be announced soon.

OUAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria
OUAT 2021 Eligibility is defined by the coordinating body. The standard is different for each UG program. They are as follows:
- Candidates must be a citizen of India.
- Candidate must complete 17 years of age by Dec. 31, 2021 (Born on or before Dec. 31, 2003)
- Each UG program requires a candidate to have a minimum of 50% in aggregate.
- For SC/ ST/ PH candidates it is 40%.

OUAT 2021 Result, Counselling, Merit List and Cutoff
OUAT 2021 UG Result will be declared on Nov 15, 2021 (tentatively) at the official portal in form of Marks Card. OUAT UG CEE Rank Card can be downloaded by entering the applicaton number and date of birth of the candidate. The university will release only the marks on November 15 (tentatively) and the Rank Card will be released on November 24, 2021 (tentatively).
OUAT 2021 UG Counselling will be commenced from Nov 30, 2021 (tentatively). Candidates will have to register on the official website – ouat.nic.in. by Dec 4 (tentatively) and pay the counselling fee. Phase-1 Allotment List has been released on December 8, 2021 (tentatively). Candidates can lock/ upgrade/quit allotted seats by Dec 10, 2021 (tentatively). Second Phase of OUAT 2021 UG Counselling will begin from December 14, 2021(tentatively).
- Candidate are shortlisted for admission based on the marks secured in OUAT 2021 written exam, Class 10th and Class 12th.
- Details of the shortlisted candidate will be announced on the admission portal.
- The selection of candidates for admission into UG Courses will be done as per OUAT Merit List.
- An intimation email will also be sent to the applicant on their registered email address.
- Shortlisted candidates will be eligible for participating in the counselling/admission round.

Steps by step guidelines to check OUAT Result are as follows:
- Visit the official website i.e. ouat.nic.in
- Go to Admission
- Click on the link stating- “ CLICK HERE to access the OUAT UG Entrance Examination Marks-2021(link is external)”
- A new tab will appear
- Go on the link “OUAT UG Entrance Exam -2021 ”
- Enter login id and password along with the captcha code to check your undergraduate entrance marks
- Result as an Intimation cum Rank card will be on screen (showing Intimation number, Name, Roll Number, Rank or Merit and Marks in OUAT 2021)
- Download and take a print-out

OUAT 2021 Counselling
Admission in the various UG programs will be done based on the merit. The Intimation-cum-Rank card specifying the date and time of counselling for the selected candidates will be available on the official website. Candidates can download the same by clicking on a link “Download Intimation-cum-Rank Card for OUAT UG Admission, 2021-20” using their roll number, mobile number, and DOB. Candidate can also login using the login ID and Password for downloading Intimation for counselling on another website i.e. lokaseba-odisha.in.
After counselling, the seat will have to be reserved by depositing admission fee, original documents with admission form and other charges within the stipulated time in the office of the particular college.
- Candidates, who achieved higher ranks in the merit list, get the first chance for counselling.
- In the first session of counselling, admission is reserved as per the offer of the institutions and choices of candidates.
- After the first session of counselling for the remaining seats for admission, a new cutoff list is released on the official website i.e. ouat.nic.in.
- Rank holder candidate, whose rank is lying under that cutoff, will be eligible for the next counselling session.
- This way for remaining seat cutoff will be announced for next counselling session if required.
- This will continue until the seats are available for admission and admission session is not over.
- After the counselling, if seats remain vacant spot counselling from common merit list may be conducted to fill up the vacant seats.
No change in course or branch or center will be possible in case a candidate has been successfully admitted to any course after counselling process and the seat is allotted to the candidate as per the option selected.
